An 8 week live coaching experience for photographers and creatives who feel stuck despite already knowing what they should be doing.
Most of the people I work with have watched the videos, read the books, and listened to the podcasts...
and yet somehow, they're still stuck.
They know exactly what productive people do. They know what successful creatives do. They want to be creating more, would love to stop comparing themselves with others, and are desperate for it to be 'the right time'. Unfortunately, that time never comes...
If any of this sounds familiar, there's a good chance that needing to know more, or needing it to be the right time aren't the things you're missing either.
Most of the time there's something else going on. Something underneath the procrastination, underneath the perfectionism, underneath the constant cycle of thinking about creating instead of actually creating.
The work we do inside The Creative Reset Live is about understanding what that is. Because once you can see it clearly, things start to change. This doesn't magically happen overnight, but it does happen in a meaningful way that actually lasts.
People often want to work with me thinking that they need more confidence, or more clarity, or more motivation.
What I've found is that confidence is a result of the work we do, rather than something we need to build in order to start.
Clients began to understand themselves better, and started recognised the things that had been getting in the way for years.
They stopped treating every struggle as ultimate proof that there was something inherently wrong with them.
This wasn't because they fixed themselves.
It was because they stopped believing that they needed to.
It probably is if...
It probably isn't if...
Once a week, I will lead a live session for the whole group where we work through the ideas, patterns and behaviours that keep so many creatives stuck. Part teaching, part interactive session, this is where mine and everyone else's experiences feed the room. These sessions give you the understanding to make real progress. All sessions are recorded so you can revisit them any time.
Bring what you're struggling with to a live group Q&A. The things you've been pondering. The work you've been avoiding. We talk through them together. One of the biggest things that people tend to discover is that they're not nearly as alone in this as they thought they were. This realisation tends to really hit home in these sessions.
A place to reflect and work through the things that we are covering. This isn't homework, but it's necessary to be able to instil everything we talk about so that it becomes useful to you, and integral to your future creative life.
You'll be surrounded by other creatives dealing with many of the same challenges. You'll all have different stories and be living different lives, but you'll likely have surprisingly similar struggles. We often think these are problems are ours to deal with alone, but the community spirit is where it really all comes together.
Your biggest breakthroughs will rarely happen on the calls, they will happen in the time spent between them. They'll happen when you take something you've understood, and start applying it in the real world. That's why the programme has been designed around action rather than information.
Weeks 3 and 4 are the deepest part of the programme, so following this is a deliberate two week pause before we continue. Like I've said, the real work happens in the time between the calls, so this break is designed specifically for that.
Six months after this finishes, we come back together as a group. One session to see what's changed, what's stuck, and what you need next. The Creative Reset Live will give you new ways of working and thinking that you will keep coming back to. This work doesn't end when the programme does, and neither should the support.
The Diagnosis. Where are you actually stuck, and why?
We start by calling out what's really happening. By using the Friction Finder, you will begin to uncover the real blocks beneath the excuses and stories you keep telling yourself. You'll uncover patterns that you previously couldn't name, and see that you're not the only one that's been struggling with them.
Creative Identity. What kind of creative work do you actually want to produce?
Being unsure of creative identity and where we are taking it is the root cause behind many of the blocks that we experience. This week, you will do the work needed to find out what you're truly drawn to rather than what you think you should be doing. This is the week where the fog starts to clear.
The Inner Monologue. What is that voice in your head telling you?
There's a voice that I call the inner critic, and this voice shows up in me, and every single person I've worked with. We all have it, but often don't realise how much it has been holding us back. This week you will name it, understand where it comes from, and start working with it rather than against it.
Your Purpose. Why does this actually matter to you?
This is the deepest week. As we get into week 4, you've named your blocks, tapped into your creative identity, and started working with your inner critic. That foundation allows week 4 to unfold. Here, we ask the bigger questions. This is the why, to Week 2's what. The work done here frames everything going forwards.
WC 20th & 27th July: Two weeks of deliberate space. We've had 4 increasingly deep weeks of inner work. This break exists so you can properly sit with the realisations, the understanding and the shift needed. Then, we move into momentum.
Creative momentum. How do you start, and then keep it going?
Now that you have a clear direction to build creative momentum towards, we need to create the conditions to make it possible. Running specific challenges, focussing on reducing friction, and integrating accountability that doesn't feel like pressure. This is where we close the gap that feels like it's always been sat between inspiration and action.
Integration. What will your creative life look like from here?
The programme closes here, but what we've learnt, the habits we're forming, and the work we're doing? None of it stops. This is where everything sticks, as you make a promise to your future self. Here, we acknowledge our ongoing commitment to carry this on, and signal that with the 6 month check in.
February 2027 - The whole group comes back together. This is one session to see what has changed, what has stuck, and work out what you need next. This is included in the programme.
Each week includes two live group calls: a teaching session on Monday at 9pm UK (BST) and a hot seat Q&A on Thursday at 9pm UK (BST). Both are recorded and available within 24 hours if you can't make it live.
I've spent most of my adult life building towards a creative career that always made sense, but most of that time I was wondering why it felt so hard.
I remember being told as a teenager that photography and filmmaking weren’t ‘proper jobs’. I had a diagnosis of ADHD at 43 that finally explained a lot about why the traditional path that is beaten into us never worked for me. I had 8 years studying for degrees that eventually went nowhere, and years spent in corporate environments that frustrated me in ways I just didn’t understand. When I finally felt brave enough to start working for myself, the pandemic almost wiped out everything I'd spent years building towards.
I got through all this, but I still felt stuck. I remember a couple of years ago still feeling paralysed despite consuming more self development and creative business content than most people would in a lifetime.
What changed everything though was not another book, framework or course. It was starting to understand myself properly: where the friction came from, the unhelpful beliefs I was carrying, the stories that had been negatively shaping my behaviour for years.
The last two years, things have really moved forwards in ways I still can’t believe, and that, ultimately, is where The Creative Reset Live comes from.
I built this because I want other people to reach that point as well, without the added decade of frustration, loneliness and guesswork.
This doesn’t necessarily have to be as a career like me. More just as a better way of living, with creative fulfilment being an integral part of that.
Life is better when you make stuff.
You deserve the freedom to have that.
"My belief in myself and my work is higher now than it's ever been."
— Dan, fine art landscape photographer
"What Rick does is more than coaching. It's therapy for the creator inside yourself."
— Neil, landscape & nature photographer
"Rick saw something in me that I didn't know was there."
— Ari, portrait photographer
"I came in overwhelmed, full of ideas but no structure, constantly second-guessing myself. This helped me get clarity, build momentum, and finally start moving forward."
— Brendan, landscape & wildlife photographer
"If someone is in a creative block or has lost the joy of photography, it really is the best medicine."
— Hendrik, landscape photographer
The common theme isn't better photography, or knowing more about a certain way of creating.
It's that people start relating to themselves differently. And when that changes, everything else tends to follow.
This is the first time I'm running the programme in this format. The content and the approach are proven: I've worked through them in 1:1 coaching and have seen what actually changes things for people like you. The group format is new, and I know that progress made together is always greater than when you try and do things on your own. I want the founding cohort to help shape what The Creative Reset Live looks like in the future. In return for a reduced rate, I'll ask for honest feedback and a testimonial at the end. That price goes up for Cohort two later this year.
The Creative Reset Live
8 weeks of live group coaching, community, workbooks, and challenges built around action.
Once your payment is confirmed you'll receive an onboarding questionnaire and everything you need ahead of 22nd June.
Do I need to be a photographer?
No. The programme is built around the internal stuff that keeps creatives stuck, and that doesn't change much depending on what you make. If you're a photographer, filmmaker, or any kind of creative who recognises what's described on this page, you're in the right place.
Is this a course I can work through in my own time?
No. This is live. The calls and the spaces between them are where the work happens. Showing up, being honest, doing the process alongside other people going through the same thing. If you want something self-paced, this isn't it.
What if I can't make every call?
Everything is recorded, so you won't lose anything if life gets in the way, but being there live is where the real value is. I'd treat the call times as non-negotiable where you can. Recordings will be uploaded within 24 hours of the calls happening so you won't fall behind if you miss any.
How does joining work?
The link above takes you to a direct payment page - as soon as you have paid, your place is confirmed. You'll then receive a welcome email and onboarding questionnaire from me with 24 hours. The first call will be on Monday 22nd June, and the community will open up a few days before that.
What platform are the calls on, and when are they?
All calls are on Zoom. Teaching sessions are every Monday at 9pm UK time, hot seats every Thursday at 9pm UK time. That's 4pm Eastern, 1pm Pacific, 10pm Central Europe. All calls are recorded and available within 24 hours, so you won't miss out if life gets in the way. Being there live is where the real value is, but you can also keep pace with the programme should you choose to watch the recorded sessions. If timings are looking like an issue, please email me below. There is never going to be a time to fit everyone, but 9pm BST seems to give the best coverage.
If you have any other questions, please send me an email rick@rickbebbington.com

You're not. And if more information was the answer, you'd probably have solved this already.
